Meet Rapha
– game designer
Rapha is our Game Designer for Battle Camp. He is a master of sorting out the game balance and to keep evolving the game for our players. He also makes sure that our new updates run smoothly as head of QA.
“It is multicultural, there’s people from all around the world”
I work with game design and quality assurance. As a Game Designer I work with a bunch of Google Sheets and as a QA I report the bugs I find in the game, mostly from the mess I made in those Google sheets.
I came to work for SLG since I did QA for Battle Camp for 2 years, so after SLG acquired BC, they asked me to join the company as QA, and also the Game Designer position. I thought about it for 2 minutes and said yes. I grew up playing Pokemon, Monster Hunter and every MMO i could lay my hands on, so BC came to be a very cosy and familiar place to me. I also always wanted to be a game designer and I have a lot of fun doing QA.
On a personal level, I like that at SLG I can be much more involved in all the processes to make BC happen, from the content meetings with artists to working closely with developers. I think this speaks for a broader level also, I like that here we have a much more horizontal conversation between all teams (art, animation, community, support, devs, etc). I think the players also feel that, they have much more voice now.
SLG is the place I pictured – the company that I would like to work for. It is multicultural, there’s people from all around the world. The Heads are very open and trustworthy, and they put confidence in your work and skills.

There is no exaggeration when we say that Anu is The Solver of Everything. She is the driving force behind many parts of SLG from Game Design, Community Management to Support and Marketing.
